what a disapointing stay at smugglers cove inn. took me ages to turn the shower on—shouldn't a sign be provided for that? also, for what i paid, i expected some courtesy upgrade, but nothing, just the same old room like everyone else. honestly, the level of service felt less than satisfactory, yet they acted like i should just be grateful.

The homemade pies at The Beach Pea Kitchen & Bar blew my mind, paired with their delicious jams. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the bed was super comfy. Plus, the hot shower had excellent pressure on the second floor!
However, the entry steps could use a little TLC, and I had to park across the road. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming given the price, and it was noisy at night.

Rooms are exceptionally clean with comfortable beds. the large flat-screen TV adds a nice touch for entertainment.
Finding street parking takes time and effort, especially during peak season. the rooms show signs of age, with outdated carpets and a lack of blackout curtains, making it hard to sleep in once the sun rises.

Had a great time staying in this beautiful spot with friends! The location is prime for exploring the stunning waterfront, and we loved checking out the Bluenose II. The room was spacious and comfy. Staff were super chill and helped us find awesome local spots for food. Perfect base for adventures together!
However, we encountered some trouble finding parking, as it gets tricky during busy times. It took a bit of patience, but we managed to figure it out.

Warm hospitality in a charming location
During our recent stay, we enjoyed a warm welcome from the owners who made us feel right at home. Our room was clean, quiet, and well-furnished, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night's sleep. The location was perfect—close to the waterfront and just a short walk to great restaurants and shops. However, parking was a bit tricky, as it's all street parking.

The owner and staff were super friendly! My cozy little room had a new AC unit and decent WiFi. Loved the historic charm, right up the street from the harbor!
Parking? A real game of musical chairs! And I had to do some serious acrobatics getting the shower to work without a manual.

Friendly vibe and comfy stay
The staff here were super nice and treated me like family! I loved the clean and cozy room. The communal area was a chill spot to unwind. I tried breakfast one morning, and it was hearty for just $10. Street parking can be a pain though, especially when it's busy.
